Heh, I believe I can find a way around it - laptops are more accessible than in the past. . First up, I'm going to go for my old gaming Clevo laptop, I know that the same case was available with Core 2 Duo Extreme.

I assume you have the most ram the laptop will take. Max ram over cpu upgrade is always the first thing to try.
