How to install a new version of Nvidia?

Hello!
Can you tell me how to uninstall the old driver, and install the newone?
I uninstalled the driver from the device manager, resolution gone low, and I tried to install the latest, but I couldn't install it, because it poped up with this:
"The graphic driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware."
I have got my resolution back because I used the windows update.
Any help?

I typically download the latest drivers and have them ready. Then I uninstall the old ones from the Control Panel, reboot, and then install the new ones from the file I downloaded. Seems to work okay for me.

First look in device manager to ensure your pc uses Nvidia, if it does read this:-

Still nothing:

I uninstalled the drivers from the control panel, rebooted, tried to install it from the .exe I downloaded, but still getting the same error...

You did download the right version ie x32 for 7 x32 or x64 for 7 x64?

I don't usually uninstall my original drivers unless I have a major issue. I just install the new ones right over the top of the old ones and things seem to work out just fine.

Is this computer a laptop? Sometimes system manufacturers change the hardware ID of the graphics card to restrict you to the driver they provide. In that case the 'generic' driver from the graphics card manufacturer won't install.

No it's not a laptop.
I used a program called DriverPack Solution, and my graphics card is updated to a highest version, not the latest though...

But, this program also affected my network card, internet works fine, but I can't join any games on an online game I play after this, I think that uninstalling my network card driver and reinstalling the first version again, before the update of the DriverPack Solution could fix this, as I was playing normally until yesterday... Any ways to do this?

I saw that there is an update for the Nvidia nforce networking controller, that wasn't in the past, but I can't update it and it comes up with an error with the code: 80070103
