    Windows reports that the "AXGA4OHT IDE Controller" device is not worki


    I have no idea what this is referring to ...i opened up Device Manager and its listed under "Storage Controllers" so that may be a clue as to the root of the problem.

    I just recently bought a 16Gb BlackBerry Playbook but have not had any issues with the Desktop Software as of yet. I have attached a screen cap of this issue.

    This is an IDE controller so it is a ribbon cable for an internal HD. It just needs to have its driver re-installed.

    You have something like Daemon tools or Alcohol installed? That looks like the kind of thing that they install for virtual drives.

    thanks guys, yes the root of the problem was the uninstallation of Daemon Tools (lite) which i have now reinstalled and the problem has been fixed
