Windows 7 - Drivers for sony vaio VPCCB26EC

I have installed a window 7 proffesional 32-bit on the the 64-bit system archtecture..but then alot of drivers are missing including VGA drivers! i have tried to visit the sony support website...they seem to have drivers compatible with win 7 proff 64-bit! is there a way a cna find drivers for my win 7 proff 32-bit on the system i specified?

Thanks for the reply pebbly...but i tried almost all of the graphics drivers on that package, still no signs of success..it is the wireless and vga drivers that are missing! thanks

Hi ropam, try this driver here Téléchargements It is not for your exact laptop model but is the nearest I could find to suit your needs ,Otherwise try going directly to Intel for the driver but be warned laptop manufactureres modify the graphic drivers to suit their needs !!

Hi Ropam, The only place I can find that specific model of Vaio is China!

I used Google translate in Firefox and Chrome worked just fine

It revealed an Atheros wifi card driver and an Amd graphics driver .

Thanks alot NightReaper...at least i was able to see the model of my Sony, because i sort of googled so much to see this model without any success! but still i was not able to download the drivers...i ddnt see the link to download them though some of the links couldnt be translated to english and so i guessed one of them meant download, however after trying them all they still couldnt help me download the drivers....

If you can offer any further help to me please....I will highly appreciate Night reaper!

Thanks again Pebbly...if I am looking for wireless drivers from the intel site, what speciofications do i need to know and where on the PC can i find them!!!! i want to try download them drivers from intel.

From the numbers translated on the Sony China website I was able to find them on Sony Asia website .

Assuming they are indeed the correct drivers here are the links:

Wifi driver: Wireless LAN Driver (Atheros) Update version 9.2.0.427 : Download : Sony Asia Pacific

AMD Graphics driver: Graphics Driver (AMD) Update version 8.850.5.3000_8.15.10.2476 : Download : Sony Asia Pacific

It might just be worthwhile d/loading speccy (free version) to try and confirm exactly which components are in your laptop!

With confirmation of exact components you may be able to go direct to the chip manufacturers website for drivers .
