Migrated my HP TX2070 from WinVista to Win7Pro: Drivers Failure
Hello Guys,
I would really appreciate your support on my case. I have migrated my HP Notebook Tablet PC which is a TX2070 from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Professional. Since I couldnt find online in the HP website for drivers for my HP on Windows 7, I have downloaded the recommended drivers of a newer HP Tablet PC on mine. Almost all worked except that when i'm trying to save my finger print in the software to use them later on, it returns an error that my fingerprint are not being detected though I have installed the Authentec drivers for it: AuthenTec Finger Print Software, AuthenTec TrueSuite and Digital Persona 4.01. On another note, I believe I am facing some other missing drivers in the DEVICE MANAGER, under the 'OTHER DEVICES' section such as the COPROCESSOR. I did a research and it says that coprocessor is usually linked to the VGA driver. Could this be related to upgrading to a newer/better NVIDIA driver ? Please help guys. I've tried also downloading one of these softwares which scans your laptop and identifies outdated drivers or drivers that are not found. I was surprised when I saw that it says 9 drivers, but unfortunately I needed to purchase to be able to download or upgrade them. Your support would be greatly appreciated gents.
