Hello asser

I think most people here would advise using Windows Update and like you said using the manufacturers website to find the most up to date drivers for your system.

This is just FWIW.

I've had good results using DriverMax to scan my computers. Once I find out which drivers may be outdated I'll use the DriverMax info to go to the manufacturer's website and see if their info matches the info from DriverMax. The reason I won't download from a 3rd party website is because it may still list a driver that's actually been pulled or even updated by the manufacturer for compatibility issues or other problems. But it's still available for download from the 3rd party's website.

do not update your drivers from any program because you will have problems and crashes.... use the windows update and microsoft will update your drivers if it's necessary... i had problems with the programs drivers update (driverscanner)

Please, Please, Please do not use third party software to find drivers thsi can cause a multitude of problems, BSODs, to complete shut down of your computer. Alway use Microsoft updates and or Manufacture updates.

Those driver finders are for the birds - absolutely useless and counterproductive.
