    the wifi in the task bar shows as networks are available


    hello the wifi icon in my task bar shows as i m not connected to a network. it shows the yellow star although i m connected to a network. the picture shows that i m connected to a network with a name blink but still the icon shows the yellow star. it should show the signal of the network. thx

    I had this problem with my belkin wireless device.
    It seems meaningless.
    Reinstalling the app made it work right for a few days, but it just went back to doing that again.
    Despite that problem it has always worked normally though.

    thx. me either it always work. what u did is to keep uninstalling the driver than reinstall it back ?

    I finally quit messing with it, as it seems to work fine either way, and you can always check signal just by hovering on it if you want.
    Pretty sure it's a problem with the third party driver for the wireless causing the bad tray icon.
    It does not seem to affect functionality though.
