    Kodak All In One

Anyone using Kodak AIO Home Center? It loads fine, creates the printer and sets it as default. The Home Center seems to work well but doesn't actually print anything, printing from applications crashed explorer and/or the application. I've tried setting it up in compatibility mode.

No, but I understand Kodak will have drivers ready in time and will have a beta program soon.

Koday released a new printer driver, version 3.40 on May 1st and it works with Windows 7 x64. I can now print and scan via the AiO Home Center. I haven't tried printing via the Homegroupa so no idea on that part. Also havne't tried Win7 x32.

    Enjoy!

Seems to work well on build 7100 x32, not so well on 7057 x32. Thanks for the update James!

    Still not working...

I cant even install the EasyShare software that was supplied on the disk or downloaded from the Kodak website.

When installing, the screen hangs (still with the activity bar moving) saying upgrading software.

When I go into c/programs/Kodak there is only one folder BIN and has only one DLL file in.

Also, there appears to be a driver installed but when I try to print I get an error message saying COM Surrogate. I deleted the driver and re-installed using BEELSBY's instructions but when I try to print I now get an error saying EXPLORER error and shuts the screens down and re-opens them all apart from what I was trying to print.

I am using a Sony Vaio laptop, Intel Pentium 1.70GHz, 2GB of mem and Windows 7 RC build 7100.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Rob

Make sure that your firewall and/or antivirus programs aren't blocking the download.

You can also try the suggested 'fix' for Vista:

    Kodak esp7 issues

I found that if you remove the software and bonjour software and go to Kodak.com/go/software and download the software for windows 7 you will have no further issues with the printer working with windows 7
