sony vaio vgn fz140e motion eye webcam not working

hi,

i have problem with motion eye webcam in vgn fz140e vaio laptop. It was working before properly but due to some reason, it now shows blue screen with NO INPUT caption.

I tried to install drivers Sony Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC4 but I got the message of installation failed.

I checked device manager and didn't find heading of imaging devices. I installed this by clicking on Add Legacy Hardware under Action tab of device manager.

Now imaging devices is shown, see file attached but webcam not working showing same blue screen with no input. I think if sony visual communication camera installs successfully, then may be webcam work. Plz help...

Welcome to Sevenforums:

Nobody else wants to say this so I will. Sounds like it has failed to me.

Not out of the ordinary as electronics fail all the time for apparently no reason.
