Casio Privia PX-120 needs driver to go with Yamaha USB-MIDI UX-16

So I finally am settling on a resolution for this problem I've been having with midi not working. So, I found out that my digital piano, a Casio Privia PX-120, has it's own driver, but the driver is only for 32 bit computers. My computer is a 64 bit. Casio does not have the 64 bit driver yet. So I need an alternative driver for my digital piano. BUT, the midi interface (USB-MIDI cable) I'm using has to be able to go with it also. I'm using a Yamaha USB-MIDI Interface UX-16.

So I need a driver for my digital piano that will be compatible with my Yamaha USB-MIDI Interface UX-16 cable. Thank you!

    Welcome to SevenForums

Since you have a 64bit system and Yamaha doesn't have a driver for it, one of the things you can try.

Go to device manager>click on the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id.

Copy and paste the hardware id string into your browser and search fo a compatible driver that way.

Or post a snip of it on here and we can look.

You can also search the Microsoft catalog for one, but I'm thinking your going to have trouble with this one.

    Fabe
