Hello i was wondering how can you be sure you have installed all the Drivers when you reinstall a Fresh copy of windows like for my Motherboard i noticed i need 1 driver so that my PC would stop getting a BSOD every Time i ran a full Screen game (it was like a ATK0001 Driver or something liek that for my ASUS M4N78 PRO mother board)

Your MOBO came with a Driver CD, start the CD & install all need drivers.
yes i know it came with the Driver CD , but there old and also it didnt have the ATK0001 drive i was talking about
Other then that go to your manufactures site and there should be a list of drivers for your pc model. That's always another easy way to find drivers. or use slimdrivers link is below.

If something is missing a driver it should show up in Device Manager with a yellow ! or red X after it. Thats how I also discovered I needed the ATK driver for my M2N68-AM SE2. It's not included in the ASUS supplied chip-set driver either. You have to search under Utilities to find it and it's not exactly intuitive as to how to install it once you download and extract it. It's not listed at all under the downloads for my M4N68T-M V2 and its not included in any of the drivers available from ASUS. As near as I can tell it is installed with one of the ASUS motherboard utilities. I don't remember which one it was, but it wasn't one I needed or wanted to install just to get the driver. Also, the general consensus on forums I looked at, was that even if you didn't install the driver, it wouldn't cause any ill effects or problems. Even so, having an unknown device showing in device manager bugged me enough that I hunted it up and installed it.
From what I have seen about the ATK0001 or the slightly newer version ATK0110, it is an Asus only driver mainly used for temp/system monitoring tools (don't remember which monitoring program it was I tried a long time ago, but it wouldn't read a M4A78 Pro properly until after installing the ATK0110). As for how it gets installed, it likely comes if/when you install any of the Asus software like Asus Probe, etc. You can also find it through Windows Update which as far as I know hasn't been one of the versions responsible for the BSOD's.
Not sure as it has been a while, but pretty sure that the version listed for download for the M4N78 PRO,

is newer than the one through WU. As for installing, after unzipping you have to install it manually through Device Manager,

P.S. No idea about any of the recent Asus Intel motherboards, but it looks like Asus has stopped using it with the latest AMD 9xx chipset based motherboards. Or at least I have no sign of it installed anywhere on my current M5A97 EVO (it also didn't show up the oen time I checked out the latest Asus suite).
Last time i experienced bsod was because of a wrong driver version maybe u can check?
ATK0110 is the one listed for my M2N68-AM SE2 and its what I used for my M4N68T-M V2. I figured out how to install it. It wasn't that hard for me really but it could be confusing for someone that isn't very computer savvy. I did just recently find an ATK utility that was actually executable on the ASUS FTP site. Haven't tested it really on a clean install yet. The FTP site seems to be down or I'd post a link.
Will it extract with 7zip or something? If so compare the INF in it to the one you're using.
There is a setup.exe and then a 409.msi and ATKPI.cab file in a data folder. The setup.exe file lists "ATK Package Setup program" as file description, 1.0.5.0 as product version and Date modified is listed as 6/24/2010 under the details tab. I'm getting ready to do a clean install on my M2N68-AM SE2, so I'll test it then. I ran it on this PC and it shows up under add remove programs, but the old driver was already installed. Nothing negative has happened that I know of.
