VIPRE Internet Security 2012 Driver Remnants

Yesterday, I switched from VIPRE Internet Security 2012 to the Good and Free system security combination. due to the problem outlined in post #1 of VIPRE Internet Security 2012 causes the whole system to hang. I now have driver remnants that I cannot get rid of.

GFI Software Firewall NDIS IM Filter Miniport #4 and GFI Software Firewall NDIS IM Filter Miniport #5 did not uninstall from my system.

I tried manually uninstalling them by right clicking them and clicking Uninstall, putting the tick to delete driver software for the device, and clicking OK. Then I restarted. Same problem persists.

The message given when I look in properties for these devices is: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (Code 19). I also have no UpperFilters and LowerFilters in {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} to delete (I believe I tried this trick before for another device and apparently it is a one shot deal).

Anyone know how to go about uninstalling drivers with these problems?

Solved the problem using Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows; the Microsoft FixIt tool is awesome.
