The drivers for your system are here:
    Asus K53SV Drivers for Win7 | driverswin.com

    You need a Wireless Driver.
    I would go for:
    Intel WiFi Wireless LAN Driver

You will need to download it from another computer (probably the one your using now), Drag it over to the USB Memory Stick. Eject it and insert it in the computer your fixing and install it from there.

    Hello david,

It cannot find any drivers because it cannot connect to the internet. It cannot connect to the internet because it doesn't have the driver software that allows it to do that. With your computer you should have received driver software CDs. They should have your LAN driver and any wireless drivers your computer may have. The most up to date drivers are found on the manufacturer's website, but it sounds like you aren't able to navigate the internet at this point in time.

If you do not have the CDs, then you might borrow a computer elsewhere, use a USB stick or the like, download the drivers from the manufacturer's website to the USB stick, and then take it to your computer to install them. make sure you install an antivirus program as soon as possible as you will need to make sure you stay protected.

    Hope this helps.

I found a disk that said VGA Driver and Manual. Is this what you're talking about? When I put it in the drive and run it, nothing happens.

It wasn't so much of a solution as it was just me stopping being an idiot! When I transferred the drivers to my laptop I tried to just update them in the device manager after I did that, I thought windows would find them in my PC. I didn't realise there was a setup application you could run within the driver folders.

But now I have another problem. I'm stuck on Basic/Starter windows theme, and it looks horrible. Apparently if you run a Windows Experience Index it will give you Aero, but mine keeps failing at the end. It says "Assesment Complete" and then this error comes up. There are no warning signs in my device manager and my GPU drivers are definitely up to date. Is there anyway to fix this or is there a way to download areo?

Also when doing a Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor scan it gave me this message.
I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia's website, so why doesn't it support Aero? I currently have an Nvidia GT520M in my laptop.

Did you install one of these drivers from the link I posted - http://driverswin.com/asus-k53sv-drivers-for-win7/?
    nVidia Graphics Driver Ver. V8.17.12.6813
    nVidia Graphics Driver Ver. V8.17.12.6813
    Intel Graphics Driver

You could also check Windows Update, they usually have the drivers there.
