I followed those instructions but it did not work. Could it be that they only stop automatic upgrades or downloads but do not affect the existing problem
driver. The option to Disable that driver is greyed out on my computer, only uninstal can be performed but of course it is reinstalled when the computer is switched on.
The problem driver has two driver files located within Windows at:
C:\Windows\system32\
DRIVERS\kbdclass.sys
C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\kbdhid.sys
Could anything be done there? with my limited knowledge I am reluctant to alter system files but I can remember reading something about copying one of these files to the desktop, making some change, then copying it back, but I cannot remember exactly what it was or where I read it.
