Windows 7 - I require Intel SM35 Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller-0816 driver

I have been searching high and low for the IRST driver or equivalent that contains the
IntelSM35 Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller-0816 driver. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction, I would be very greatful. I do not want to download from a dodgy website, would really prefer a link directly to Intel's site. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for replying so quickly, I had found that link too, however there are no Sata Controller drivers.

I have a feeling that this chipset was desgined to work with Win 7, not XP. It seems the sata controller driver is built into Win 7 so it installs with no problems, however when trying to install XP, I get a BSOD. Same issue occurs when I boot to BartPE, BartPE starts to load, however just sa it's about to boot to the preboot environment, it BSODs with the same stop code.

I downloaded the file myself and scanned it for "problems". I don't know if it will work, but it appears to be safe. Dog-slow download, though. I've attached it in case you want to have a look.
