Checked out the link it led me to download page for "Conexant Audio Driver For AMD HDMI Codec version 4.9" A download page with no link to an actual download. Searched the for driver in google, led nowhere. i did use "DriverMax" to install Conexant HD AUDIO driver v 8.54.8.8.50 still no stereo mixer in volume controls. Did a little research and found "Virtual Audio Cable". This program allowed me to stream the music i am listening through a"virtual line in", which shows up in volume controls, through video chats w/out having to play music aloud and use mic, which distorts and sounds really poor for my chat partner. It took me a tweak or two in the volume controls for the results i was looking for: listening to music while streaming and no mic sound.
If anyone needs help configuring once VAC is installed. I can let you know what i did for it to work. Free trial does have female voice saying "trial" repeatedly. not noticeable the louder the music. I am going to keeping using for a while before considering FULL VERSION, since my uses are purely recreational.
I would like any info on the lack of "stereo mixer" in volume controls and lack of driver for CONEXANT sound cards which would allow for such operation. Makes me really wish i had a REALTEK sound car.
Thanks for suggestions though.
