Need Help ASAP, Zebra/UPS Thermal 2844 And Windows 7  

I've installed seagull drivers. I can't figure out how to add any graphics . Have you been able to do it? Can you please explain how if you did?

I had a lot of issues getting my Zebra UPS 2844 Thermal Printer to work. In the end, it was all so simple.

Currently I use UPS and Stamps.com to ship and print labels. Both need different drivers to work correctly.

Setting up with Stamps.com

Download and install these drivers from Seagull

Go back into your "Devices & Printers" and you should see "Zebra UPS 2844". Configure it to use the 4x6 labels and you are done!

I work with these all day. The best thing to do is to do a clean install. First turn off the printer and then disconnect it from the computer (not from the printer). Go to the ups site (assuming that it is a printer for their labels) download the zebra drivers from them (not the zebra site) then run the zebra uninstaller (select the option to delete drivers and packages), then manually check for any zebra drivers left over (click on the start button>devices and printers>>select any existing printer>click on print server properties>click on the drivers tab>delete any zebra printer drivers for ups that you see, if any). Then with the printer still disconnected run the zebra installer (you dont need the font loader option that it gives) select the printer type, and then select your port type, if it uses a usb cable select usb 001. Once it finishes installing connect the printer, turn it on and through windows (not ups) print a test page (start>devices and printers>select printer>right click on printer>click on printer properties>print test page) this will tell you if the computer can communicate with the printer. Should work. Next you need java for the ups site to communicate with the printer (this is how the image for the labels get sent). Go to java.com to make sure you have the newest version. Once java is good to go, print a sample label or the actual label from the ups site. Should work like a charm. If still not but the computer can print a test page, restore the java security prompt from your control panel.
