How do I get a Windows 7 Driver for Belkin F5L009 USB hub

I have a Belkin F5L009 USB Hub and it is installed and working fine on my laptop running Windows Vista.

I want to install it on my wife's new laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium OS. When I install it off the disc it finds the hub's IP address but when I try to install it say it has detected an incompatible version of windows and exits.

I have looked on the Belkin website and cannot easily see a Windows 7 download.

By the way my laptop is currently in the shop and will have Windows 7 Business installed when I get it back so this is a real problem for us.

    Can anyone help?

Right-click the Belkin .exe file and choose Properties.

Click the Compatibility tab then choose Windows Vista from the Compatibility Mode drop-down box, and then Apply/OK.

Nope, that didn't help. Ran it for compatibility with Windows 7 and Vista SP2 and got the same error message

In that case, try Compatibility Mode for Vista without SP1 or SP2.

No, that just got the same (error) message, it detected an incompatible version of Windows....and then exits.

Large discussion here Belkin Network USB hub F5L009, you may find a fix there.

Post #19 suggest using SX-Virtual Link instead of Belkin software, but the link is invalid. The link for v3.8.0 is http://www.silexamerica.com/support/...nk_win_380.zip, read the thread first.
