    Trouble installing HP Photosmart 6510

I am trying to install a new HP printer and I get the following error message.

    Windows cannot find C:\Users\Sandy\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS3FF3\HP-DQEXS.exe

I can find one called Sandy-PC\Users

    Any suggestions?

    Can I just create a file C:\Users\Sandy\Local\Temps ?

Save the driver to your PC first then run it rather than doing just open.

Full featured Software along with driver:

    Driver only:

I still got the same message with the driver only

    Windows cannot find C:\Users\Sandy\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS3FF3\HP-DQEXS.exe

I get no options to locate it myself.

    Try these:

    • Run the .exe as Administrator

    • Disable UAC and try running again

Since you said you can find the file under %TEMP%, why dont you just run the .exe from there

When you double click icon the desktop it is searching for a temp file?
Try right clicking the driver icon, Properties, Compatibility tab. Tick (check mark) the Run in mode and try it for Vista SP2.
