    Need help with newly built computer!


    Hey there I recently put together my computer for a better gaming experience and I don't know whats going on but something somewhere is going wrong. Everytime I try to play a game like starcraft 2 or star wars the old republic I get a blue screen and a get a 0x0000016 error.
    Also I got a weird first error when I installed windows the first time.

    Make sure all of the cables are fit properly, as a lack of power to graphics card could certainly cause problems.

    I'm gonna double check the cable connections then, but do you think it could be a faulty motherboard or graphics card? I read somewhere that the Asus motherboard I have has been known to be defective. Oh also Ill post my system specs :

    OS : Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit

    Memory : 8 GB of RAM
    Graphics Card(s):nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti
    Monitor(s) Displays :HP LA2205, DELL E228WFP
    Hard Drives: Hitachi HDS721680PLA380 ATA Device - 75 gb
    WDC WD3200AAKS-61L9A0 ATA Device - 325 gb PSU : UL series 575 watt ATX power supply
    Case :CM Storm Enforcer ATX Mid-Tower USB 3.0
    Cooling :Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus

    The file I always see pop up in the BSOD is nvlddmkm.sys

    You will probably have much better luck by posting in the Crash/Debug room.
    there are specific instructions on what what to post and how to get the files needed for the team of people here to help you.

    When I built my first PC, I had a crashing problems as well. I followed the instructions in the sticky located at the top of the list of threads in that room and someone helped me overcome the problem in less than 24 hrs.
