    Problem Touchpad Sony Vaio VPCEH18FA

    Good afternoon Seven Forum

I have a problem with a Pointing Device that does not work

I experienced this problem when i restore windows by using the Vaio Care Rescue, Pointing Device I still can be used as the Vaio Care Rescue mode (I also use an external mouse is currently in recovery mode) but after the windows had recovered Pointing I can not be used, only external mouse still works.

I have tried to uninstall it and install the Pointing driver and update it, but still can not be used.

Please its support and Thank You

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Have you checked to see if your pointing device is enabled?

    Go to Start>All Programs>Vaio Control Center>Keyboard & Mouse>Pointing Device.

Enable the device then Apply>OK. If you want to change the settings, click the Advanced button.

You may find you have problems with erratic cursor movement if you try and use a mouse along with the touchpad.

I'd suggest using one or the other, but not both at the same time.
