Ethernet driver is missing.  

i just reinstalled the OS on this computer and ive been trying to figure out how to establish this local area connection. I dont want to run off wifi anymore.

i dont have any of the pc's old cd's.
i have a biostarr A880G+ motherboard

i tried installing the realtek windows 7 lan driver and its saying something about my plug being in deep sleep

i tried both and no luck... : (

it keeps saying that my plug is in deep sleep mode or something like that

Did you even google it?

The one for your Ethernet card (32 bit or 64). If we had your COMPLETE system specs we might be able to help more.

I may be missing it, but I don't see a ethernet card in your device manager. I only see a wireless card.

can you point me in the direction of where i can download this ethernetcard driver
and is it fairly simple to install?

i appreciate any help!
