    HP dv5226ca audio driver


    Hi,

    I installed W7 Home Premium on my old HP dv5226ca, everything works fine except for the audio driver that cannot be found.
    Obviously I tried both Windows Update and the HP Drivers page, but no luck.

    Is there any alternative I can try?

    If you received the Drivers CD along with your HP dv5226ca then the needed driver would be on it. It may be necessary to install it in Windows XP SP3 compatible mode.

    Normally a substitute Realtek Audio Driver should also work with HP. You can get it at Realtek AC'97 Driver (Windows Vista / Windows 7) - Download.com and try out.
