I installed a new printer, but after a month of successful use, the driver would not load on first boot up in the morning. After rebooting, all is fine for the rest of the day. (Another driver, Wacom tablet, *occasionally* will not boot first thing and I have to reboot.)
After uninstalling, reinstalling printer drivers, new USB cable, trying different USB ports, etc. Epson now believes the issue is with my PC: 64 bit Windows 7 Dell Studio XPS 9100, 12GB Ram.
The Epson driver never loads first thing, and loads only after I reboot, even if my print job is the first task in the morning.
I'm hoping to find an answer without the painful and time consuming process called Dell Support!
