    graphic driver


    if i go to device manager and i look at my display adaptor it says : standard vga graphics adapter.on windows xp sp3 it sayd my graphic board name gforce 8400s.this means that the graphic driver is not installed?

    Sorry.. You lost me there...

    Edit..

    You mean drivers for other hardware?

    Also you say your card is 8400 but in your system specs you have an ATI card listed.. Please clarify the hardware in your system specs.

    yes sorry for that,i am using my laptop now.on the system specs its my desktop computer configuration.
    yes for other hardware how do i know if i have the properly installed drivers?i have a disc with all the drivers for my laptop but i dont know if they will work for windows 7

    I'm sorry. That's incorrect. Try again please. You should be able to see the model number when you open the laptop or you can flip it and look at the sticker below.
