Radeon 9250 driver for win 7.64

I have read numerous posts on how to get the ATI Radeon 9250 card to work with win7 but I cannot get any solution to work with win 7.64.
I do realize that this card is not compatible or recommended for win 7. I just need to get it working short term until I can buy a replacement, this is the only PCI card I had to get this new system working.

Can anyone provide me with an inf that will work for this configuration?

About the best I can suggest is to see what if anything you can get for it through Windows Update. Probably won't get anything, but won't hurt if you haven't tried yet. Problem is that AMD never made a 64 bit driver for that series of cards and dropped support for them back in late 2006. There is the last 32 bit XP driver for it that does work in Windows 7, but as you already know you have to be running 32 bit Windows to use it.

If all else fails you may just have to make the best of it until you do get a new card.

Its an old card.. and its not supported by 64bit operating system. best option is to replace the card you are using.

Thank you for your replies. I am however, still confused... according to the compatibility chart on Microsofts' site this card should be compatible with a download from diamond. I have tried it with no success.
i'm not looking for all the bells and whistles, just can't install some software due to the Standard VGA driver.

I think someone is smoking something funny at the Compatibility site, and drinking something really strange at Diamond's download page. There can not be a 64 bit driver available for it as ATI/AMD never released one, so no idea how it made it onto the Microsoft Compatibility page. Also the 64 bit driver that Diamond claims to have available when you download it is actually for Windows 98/ME.

There is not now and never will be a Windows 7 64 bit driver for that card (or Vista for that matter). The best you could hope for is a XP 64 bit driver, but it only supports cards from the 9500 and up; everything else for it will be the last 32 bit XP driver.
