I have to support this for my team, I found the demo version isn't working anymore. Then figured out the new version is available at: Support
which works great with Win 7 , this is the same version which was available with the https://sslvpn.demo.sonicwall.com.

Reason: Promotional link removed
I tried the demo site just now and it worked a breeze (on IE8), but then disconnected and tried to run it from my Office Sonicwall page, and I got a message "Failed to Communicate with NetExtender, this could be caused by a damaged or incompatible version of NetExtender has been installed".
It wont run on my Mozilla install because it's incompatible with Mozilla 6.0.
The connection to the Demo site created a profile - but how can you MANUALLY create a VPN profile ??
I was provided NetExtender 4.0.138 directly from SonicWall Support, but on Windows 7 64-bit, I think the program causes my screen and/or system to be unresponsive, after the system logs out and requires a logon - the mouse appears (moveable), but the screen remains black and I have to do a cold start, which is not my preferred method!
Maybe I should downgrade?? (But the previous version is from 2009!)
After many failed attempts at installing the SSLVPN Sonicwall NetExetender, I found one issue that helps to know. To install the Netextender software, you need to do so from a 32bit version of IE. The 64 bit version at this point in time does not allow you to run the ActiveX needed.
