installation problem..

    installation problem..


    Greetings, im new in this forum =)

    when im trying to install windows 7 pro, once i pressed the install windows 7, this problem came out, and i've no idea how to fix it.



    guys, any idea how to fix this??

    Are you running RAID? To me it looks like it is looking for either the RAID or SATA controller for your motherboard so it can access the drive.
    A bit more information on your system as well will help.

    do u mean the format of my hdd? i'm trying to install windows 7 on my notebook, which is centrino proc, T7250 2.0 GHz, 120G sata hdd.

    You are missing a driver for either a raid (not likely cause its a laptop) or the HD. Did you get a cd with the computer that had dirvers on it? what OS was on it when you got it?

    erm, what is a raid? when i first bought the notebook, it came with a CD that contains all driver for windows vista.

    You won't need to worry about a RAID driver on your laptop.
    Like zigzag noted, you are most likely missing a driver for your hard drive or hard drive controller. The Vista ones on the CD will most likely work to get you going.

    If you were to copy them to a USB drive you could browse for them when you get to this point again and install them.
