firmware parser driver for fz11z??  

i have just clean installed WIN 7 Pro 32bit. Windows is genuine down Loaded via MSDN. laptop is VAIO VGN-FZ11Z. I have not installed any of the drivers yet.

right now window is just flagging for 2 things

1- driver for sony firmware parser which im not finding anywhere on Sony Europe website as this model is EU. help me to find it plz

2- Address a problem of taxes instrument PCIxx12 flash media reader (driver is located by windows)


im quite naive, kindly guide me , should i need to install other sony drivers like chipset etc or not, and how.

one more thing, after clean installation of windows it is giving to many validation errors and application crashes. it happens mostly on launching of applications or setup files. I am confused why is that. here are snaps of below of and also device manager

Go to the SONY ASIA site -- loads and loads of SONY drivers there (and in English).

this is a link to my VAIO stuff but you should find all the other info for your model -- look on the bottom of the computer case to see your model type.

i searched the asia site as u mentioned. First of all my model is not listed in it as it is sold in europe.
secondly i have WINDOWS 7 32BIT version. your drivers are for 64x.

Hi there
obviously you have to look for your own model and your OS -- it will be one of these.

If the exact model isn't shown then choose a similar one from the series with the nearest number.
most drivers are the same for a particular series -- I suspect the VGN Z112 stuff will probably work -- no harm in downloading the reader driver and seeing if it works.

Ensure you get the model type from the bottom of the computer case rather than the handbook or disk that came with the computer.

Search Results : Support : Sony Asia Pacific

Then use the facility on the RIGHT of the screen -- Model finder.

searched but model not found in their listings. try yourself if you dont trust me VAIO VGN-FZ11Z
Asia and USA websites are not detecting this model. Only Europe website is detecting it but there is no link for firmware extension parser in it

Tried the VAIO Update Utility?

Sony : VGN-FZ11Z updates | Download updates for VGN-FZ11Z

No idea if it will work, but I would assume that it would detect and download it for you.
