Driver Problem For built in SD CARD READER after upgrade

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-TT21WN running a windows 7 ultimate 32 bit OS, I upgraded from a VISTA professional, everything works fine except the built in RICOH SD CARD READER. I have all the drivers have done all the trouble shooting procedures, but have had no sucess.

Thank you for all the help you may bring.

Cheers,

Nicolas

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

It would be helpful if you tell us exactly what you've done rather than just generalising by saying you've tried everything, which could mean all or nothing. It also stops people wasting time searching for possible solutions that you may have already tried.

Have you tried installing a Vista driver in Compatibility Mode for Windows Vista?

Is it showing up in Device Manager? If so, does it appear when you stick a card in the reader?
