Hello studman97 Welcome to the Seven Forums!

What type of connection do you have there? That will be a help in solving this rather quickly. Are you plugging a usb cord, ethernet RJ-45 cord, or running a wireless type connection?

The two places to start are the Device Manager>Network devices and in the Control Panel>Network & Sharing Center for using the network troubleshooting tool as well as checking off the automatically detect settings box found in the Internet Explorer options>connections tab.

I have a Toshiba Satellite s955-xxxx that came with win8. I put in a new HDD and installed Win7 Ultimate. Now it doesnt see any Network adapters. I tried to install a driver from win8 but, since there is no adapter seen, that didn't work.

Since I can't find how to open a new thread, I am putting this here with the hopes that somebody will see it and solve this.
    Thanks, G

I FOUND THE STUPIDITY!(me AND Toshiba) I loaded drivers and, like magic, it started working!!
