    ok so just get it to search the net for the rest. at least i have internet now thanks does it take a long time to search for the additional ones?

    Yeah it should find them once you have Internet access. It should take too long.

    thank you so much it works yay. going to attempt on my original drive. you are a legend

    I know this is not part of this thread but, in you experience when windows flashes up that there is an error on hard drive would this indicate it needs replacing. I can't view results of the check disk function and my virus searches using several programs would not complete, instead they would freeze.

    Yeah that doesn't sound good, I put a solid state hard drive in my Samsung RV511 and it gave it a new lease of life

    that's what i am thinking of doing ,once i get a new pc and see if i can reinstall old assistive tech programs i need for work i am going to get an solid state drive. Did you upgrade your ram to 8gb?

    Mine came with 8gb of ram. but upgrading it would be simple.

    Oh yeah I upgraded mine already. How come you got it with 8gb? That's it's max mine game with only 3, so I maxed it 😀

    Actually I think it has 6gb of ram not 8.
