    How To Fix 2 Black Border At The Side Of Full Screen Game~


    As Title Shown~I Have A Problem That Make Me frustrated~
    While I Playing FullScreen Game Such As Maple Story~The Screen Will Appear 2 Black Border At The Side~
    I'm Currently Using Intel GMA As My Graphic Driver~
    This Is My Computer Spec~::
    Processor:Intel Pentium Dual CPU T2370 @1.73GHz 1.73GHz
    RAM:1.00GB
    System Type:32-bit Operating System~
    Please Help Me To Solve This Problem~:)

    You are having that problem because you have your display settings wrong in the game settings. You should be able to correct this easily by going to the games settings and changing the display to match your monitor.

    hmm~I normally set 800x600 resolution in the game in order to reduce the lag~
    This Problem Wont Happen Before My Computer Reformatting~
    But After Formatting,It Doesnt Work~It Shown 2 Black Border At the Side~
    How To Get Rid Of This~

    What is you screens native resolution and how large are these borders ?
    I suppose you have tried the latest drivers for the Intel?

    Sorry For The Late Reply~Im Currently Using 1280x800 As My Computer Screen Resolution~
    Hmm~The Driver I Using Is Download From The Intel Official Website~I Think It Was The Latest~

    Setting 800x600 could be the problem forgetting lag for a bit (it shouldn't make too much difference under the circumstances) try setting in game res to 1280x800 and tell what you see.

    The Black border was gone while i set 1280x800~But How to Make 800x600 resolution get rid of the black border?

    I believe it is an aspect ratio issue called "Pillar boxing" There is a free program at Source Forge called "Virtual Dub" ...this may resolve your issue.

    pillar box - vertical bars on display


    The aspect ratio fix ...consider it like an overlay for all programs, games, video etc.
    It simpy allows the user to overide game paramaters and will allow relative resampling on the video output. eg...will compensate and resample input/output and generate a linear view on the screen.
    A tad bit of latency as the resampling works its magic is to be expected.
