The aspect ratio fix ...consider it like an overlay for all programs, games, video etc.
It simpy allows the user to overide game paramaters and will allow relative resampling on the video output. eg...will compensate and resample input/output and generate a linear view on the screen.
A tad bit of latency as the resampling works its magic is to be expected.

Right click your screen, if you see an option for the intel drivers make sure it's set to fullscreen in application, you can also do this in the driver itself.
