Im a windows 7 Home premium user.
i cant seem to open my control panel.
Whenever i press start , i clicked control panel, it only come out at the taskbox.
but it wont appear on the desktop.
it happen to my window live messenger also ( miracle-ly it can open on the desktop now. ) HELP PLEASE! i cant personalize my desktop or whatever shit.

What happens if you click the taskbar icon of control panel ? Any maximization or minimization action ?
Can you access control panel if you are in safe mode ?
Rin SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker, see if it can solve the issue or not.
Post back with results .
It can be open at safe mode,
But not when it normally start up.

It only can be seen like this, it doesnt show up at desktop.
And i had ran the sfc/scannow, it said there nothing wrong with anything.
oh ... i solved it myself but going to the window explorer and open control panel through there.
Do two more things ?
Have a System Restore to an earlier time that the problem is started occurring; and download, install and upgrade free Malwarebytes , do a complete scan using it.
Let us know the results.
