Anyone Using Driver Signature Enforcement overrider Program ?

    Hello,

Anyone using that program that allows one to use, supposedly, unsigned drivers ?
    It's fron NGOHQ.com

    Called: Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider.

If so, would appreciate it very much if you could contact me off line to discuss usage of; hate to bother everyone again with my tale of woe.

    Thanks,
    Bob

We use the Forum to post back and forth so everybody read and learn. Doing this off line defeats the reading and learning.

    From OP:

    Hi,

    O.K.

Running W7, the 64 bit version.

Installed a new HD, and afterwards everything worked fine, except for one program.
Msgs kept coming up saying driver was unsigned.
But the vendor says it definitely is signed.
Also, the program worked just fine prior to the new hd install.

Anyway, found reference to this Driver Signature Enforcer program.
Ran it, and, amazingly, all was happiness again.
At least for 3 days. Also a fair number of pc turn on and turn offs.

Now, it's the msgs again. Nothing has changed regarding any new programs installed, etc. Virus protection is off, but still the msgs.

So, ran the Enforcer program again from NGOHQ.com , and all works (again).

Questions: is there a time limit on this program where they want some $$ to keep it going ? Site implies it is free.

Anybody have any idea as to why it would work for only a few days ?

Anyone else use, or have any experience with the program ?

    Much thanks,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

It might help if you mentioned the program that is having a driver problem.

How are things going with all these other Driver threads you have started?

Possible Driver Problems After Re-Install Of New HD ? (solved or not?)

    Drivers, and Location Question

Driver: Can't Find Anywhere; Where To Obtain ? (This one I requested that you stick to one thread to avoid confusion and/or conflicting answers)

It really doesn't help spreading your questions out. Answering questions asked of you would help too.

So, let's start with this one, What program is giving you the driver problem?

    For Derekemo from OP:

    Hello,

Much thanks for help and interest. Very appreciated.

Always uncertain regarding to just keep appending to original thread, or start a new one. Have always felt that if they get too long, they kind of just get buried in the noise.

Anyway, as this thread was specific to the Driver Enforcement program, I thought it appropriate for a new one.

I have a software defined radio (SDR) in which there is a very small front-end of the radio in hardware, but most of the processing, filtering, tuning, etc. are done by software in the pc.

The radio is called an Excalibur, by the WinRadio (Radixon) folks.
Everything always worked fine, until after the new hd install, when msgs kept appearing that one of the Drivers (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\G31DDCx64.sys)
was unsigned. Vendor says it is definitely signed, and I believe him.
Apparently the problem for whatever reason is unique to my PC.
Again, it worked just fine prior to the new hd. (using W7, 64 bit vers.)

This Driver Enforcer... program where it puts in a "false" signature, or whatever it does, that I mentioned previously seemed to have fixed the problem.
But the "fix" seemed to have worked for only a few days, although there were many turn on and turn off of the pc.

Was just wondering if anyone else has used the program, if they might have any hints re its usage, and experiences with.

    Regards,
    Bob
