I am glad to say that I called Apple and the problem was fixed. I should have thought of this... BUT this is how it is done.
1. Uninstall in the order as listed: Apple Mobile Device Support
Apple Software Update
QuickTime
iTunes 2. Restart
3. Download and install iTunes
4. Restart
5. Magic.
And that was it! I should have considered the other software Apple puts on the computer, but I figured it all uninstalled along with iTunes. Oh well. It works like before now. Other than iTunes failing naturally and iPods having problems. Thank you for everyones help. May this post help others in need. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit (Build 7600) CPU Intel Q9550 2.83 GHz Motherboard ASUS P5E3 Premium Memory OCZ Platinum DDR3 1600 Graphics Card ATI Radeon 2400 HD Monitor(s) Displays Acer X221W PSU PC P&C 610W Case Antec 1200 |

I tried all of the uninstall with no results. What did work was going into my bios and turning on "c" state under cpu config. After doing that no problems at all . | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Win7 CPU i7 860 Motherboard Asus P7P55D Pro Memory 8 gig OCZ DDR3 cas 7 Graphics Card Evga GTX 260 Core 216 sli Sound Card onboard Monitor(s) Displays Viewsonic Keyboard Logitech Mouse Logitech PSU Corsair 850 watt Case Antec 300 Cooling Zalman CNPS 10X Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 120 gb ssd

Thank you.
~Nicane No, its not windows 7, its Itunes, the driver did not extract properly so Device manager only recognizes it as a camera. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Windows 7 7600 1 X64 CPU AMD PHENOM II X 550 PROCESSOR 3.1 ghz Motherboard ASUS M4A78-TE Memory Corsair 4 gig ddr 3 Graphics Card ati radeon 3300 Sound Card ati hd Monitor(s) Displays syncmaster 2033sw Screen Resolution 1600X900 60 hz refresh PSU antec_550 watt Case cooler master GLite Cooling stock_heat sink Hard Drives twin_seagates SATA's 1 TB & 500 Gig, hitachi_slimline 160 gig Internet Speed 20mbs up/ 1.5mbs down Other Info favorite child "stewie"

- Reboot your system and follow this link:
- Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now
- Download the top Itunes package for windows 7 X64
- Find where you put the Itunes.exe and put your mouse over it.
- You will see a dropdown menu if you right click over the program.
- Choose the run as ADMINISTARTOR and double click
- The itunes will begin to extract and install all programs including quicktime.
- Reboot your system, connect your device, you should here 2 distinct sounds, these are the usb driver, then next sound is your apple mobile device driver.
- Open itunes.
That should do it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Windows 7 7600 1 X64 CPU AMD PHENOM II X 550 PROCESSOR 3.1 ghz Motherboard ASUS M4A78-TE Memory Corsair 4 gig ddr 3 Graphics Card ati radeon 3300 Sound Card ati hd Monitor(s) Displays syncmaster 2033sw Screen Resolution 1600X900 60 hz refresh PSU antec_550 watt Case cooler master GLite Cooling stock_heat sink Hard Drives twin_seagates SATA's 1 TB & 500 Gig, hitachi_slimline 160 gig Internet Speed 20mbs up/ 1.5mbs down Other Info favorite child "stewie"
