Trying to update MS C++ 2005 Redist, network resource unavailable

I seem to be having trouble with updating Microsoft C++ 2005 Redistributable, and every time I try to replace it, it comes up with an error window which basically says that the network resource is unavailable (even though it should be locally stored) I've tried uninstalling with Control Panel, and it comes up with the same error, I've even tried searching for it and all that comes up with is vcredist.bmp, rather than vcredist.msi, There is a screenshot of the error posted below, when I try to uninstall via Control Panel, it says to check if I have the correct priviledges to access the file, even though I am running the true admin, please help!!!

Thanks in advance!
