    Another Logitech Setpoint problem.

I get most of the way through the installation, and then the window just kills itself. The only info I could find is that the Log says

File created on 1-18-2009 at 02:17:48

    Product : SetPoint version 4.70

    02:17:48 = Before khal launched
    02:17:48 = Installing khal...
    02:17:48 = Install KhalInstaller32.msi
02:17:49 = Return value of LMkRstPt when abort 0

Same problem here. From what I've seen its only people with 64-bit who manages to install setpoint.

    Hello vitrify and isakii,

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

I just installed setpoint on my 32 bit W7. You must install in compatibility mode for Vista and run as administrator. Info here if needed: Compatibility Mode

    Please keep us posted.

I've already tried that... nothing =/

Edit: To show where it gets to.

It almost finishes that green bar, then the window just closes.

I just got the mouse yesterday and had installed it in 64 bit. Saw this thread and rebooted into 32 bit to see what happened. Set it to compat. mode Vista and checked 'run as admin' at the bottom. Double click the setup.exe. and installed fine. Have you got the latest software? If not you should be able to download here: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/su...oads/&cl=us,en

Sorry didn't see the pic before I reposted. I have just the mouse MX Revolution. Version 4.24.99. I see now that you have ver. 4.70. Just checked the Logitech site and it seems you do have the latest software. Only other thing I know to try is XP SP2 mode and see if that works.

Same here, Hyper. I just don't think setpoint and 7 are compatible.

I have it installed with no problem, it just took a long time for the installation to finish, are you sure you have a 32bit version on your 32bit o/s. I have the x64 installed on mine, as I run x64 version of Windows 7.

Yes, I have 32bit. It seems that the x64 version works fine, but the x86 one doesn't work properly.
