    brother dcp-7020 Pritner Problems

Recently I built a custom desktop for a friend of mind and installed everything he needed. The os on that system is Windows 7 64-bit. The other day, he emailed me explaining he had a problem printing to this printer from his desktop. Tonight, I called him and worked him through running remote desktop so I could work on his computer remotely(since he lives 4 hours away). I tried everything I could, but couldn't get the printer to actually work. Whenever I print something, in the printing information screen, it tells me an error almost immediately, which leads me to believe that there is a compatibility or driver issue as opposed to the printer itself, especially because it worked on his old desktop. I re-installed the drivers, had him try different wires and usb ports, but yet there is still a problem. According to the troubleshooter, it says there is a problem with either the wire or the printer itself. I even changed the printing port of the computer within Windows and that didn't help. I see it very unlikely to be either. Is there anyone else with this problem or anyone that might have a solution to it?

P.S. He has three printers hooked up, so there may be some conflict there?

    Any Help will be appreciated!

    Hi there,

If compatibility driver is concern try to check the manufacturer's website to get the latest driver of the printer. Here is the link from their website http://welcome.solutions.brother.com...rod=dcp7020_us that might help to figure out the exact problem.

You can also use this Uninstall Tool their recent TOOL release.

Even how many printer is installed in the desktop, it may never affect or to have a conflict were each printer has a designated driver.

Hope this one can figure out the troubleshoot. :)
