    Roccat Kone not working

    Hello!

So, my wonderful mouse Roccat Kone doesn't work. I've read that other people have used Kone succesfully under W7, but I just can't understand why it isn't working for me. I installed the driver and then launched the 64-bit version of DPInst.exe. The LED's are working just fine, they're emitting the blue light, but the cursos won't move anywhere when I move the mouse.

Any ideas on how should I start to solve this or how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

That thread was a bit messy, but from what I've understood, he downloaded the driver from Windows Update? Well, that's not working for me. Thanks for the try, tho.

Hm still the same problem? Then we have to find a solution. You tried to install it in compatibilty mode and as administrator?

    Try:
    Use driver version 1.29 + Firmware: 1.31

Maybe this could help... seems this more a x64 problem then a windows 7 problem

What I did to get it working on W7 x64.

I unplugged my Logitech G9 > Installed the Roccat software/driver 1.29 in Vista SP1 Compatibility Mode and Run as Administrator > Rebooted and waited for the PC to be fully loaded > Plugged in Roccat Kone. Worked like a charm.

The drivers from the CD didnt work for me either on RTM x64. How i got it working was run the KoneUpdate.exe ( C:/Program Files (x86)/ROCCAT/Kone Mouse/FWUpdate/). Latest firmware was installed and after a reboot everything worked just fine. Awesome mouse, btw.
