    What is "ArcSec"

    Hello All
    I use "TuneUp Utilities 2012".
It's telling me "ArcSec" device is not working properly".
I have looked at my device manager and there is nothing
high lighted and looked through all the devices there and
    found nothing.
Could someone tell me what "ArcSec" is and how to find it.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi RalphG

My name is Mohammed from DELL social media outreach team

In response to your recent query The ArcSec driver that TuneUp utilities referring to is related to a service installed by ArcSoft.Try the following steps mention below .

    Go back to Device Manager.
    Click "View".
    Check "Show Hidden Devices".
Go back down to "Non-Plug and Play Drivers" and click the "+" to expand the list.
Right click on ArcSec and select "Uninstall".
    Reboot.

    Thanks & regards

Personally, I would uninstall the tuneup utility. I've found they don't work as well as you'd think, and they can wreak havoc from time to time. Just look for updates from your manufacturer websites.

Unless ArcSoft release an update I think whatever was installed by it will be just fine.

Thanks Mohammed, turns out this was from a trial application I had
uninstalled a while ago. Did as you instructed.

I have been using TuneUp Utillites for a long time and haven't
had any problem yet ( Knock On Wood)

    Thank You for your replies
