Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H WB Wireless Card Driver Will Not Take The Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H WB comes with a Wireless Adapter/Bluetooth PCIe card.
Atheros AR5BWB222. Gigabyte calls it a GC-WB300D
The driver is being reported as having an issue by a splat in device manager with the following message: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52). The Card works fine in another system that also runs Windows 7 x64 Pro.
I have called Gigabyte, uninstalled and the reverse in safe mode also. Done everything I know. Why it works in one system and not this one is the key. Once it was seen to work on another system Gigabyte tossed me into the ditch.
I have tried drivers from the boxed CD and their site.
The Bluetooth side of the card which uses its own drivers is OK.

I just built a new system with that motherboard, except it does not have the wireless option (I don't want that as I'm using my system for Recording Studio).
Have you tried just letting Windows find a driver, rather than use Gigabyte? If not give that a try. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number My Own Build OS Windows 7, 64 bit Home SP1, Win 8 Pro 64 bit CPU Intel i7 3770 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Memory 16GB GSkill Ripsaw F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL Graphics Card Sapphire HD7770 Sound Card RealTek Monitor(s) Displays Viewsonic VA2448 Series 24" LED Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Kensington wired Mouse Logitech Wireless PSU Antec High Current Gamer HCG-620M Modular Case Coolermaster HAF XM Cooling Corsair H80 Liquid cooling with aftermarket Nexus quiet fans Hard Drives 240GB Intel 520 SSD for Win 7

Update, some files will have an attribute that it came from another PC. You have to bring up the properties for the file and authorize it for your PC. I ran into that on my old PC with some drivers or an HT Omega "Striker 7.1" Sound card. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number My Own Build OS Windows 7, 64 bit Home SP1, Win 8 Pro 64 bit CPU Intel i7 3770 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Memory 16GB GSkill Ripsaw F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL Graphics Card Sapphire HD7770 Sound Card RealTek Monitor(s) Displays Viewsonic VA2448 Series 24" LED Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Kensington wired Mouse Logitech Wireless PSU Antec High Current Gamer HCG-620M Modular Case Coolermaster HAF XM Cooling Corsair H80 Liquid cooling with aftermarket Nexus quiet fans Hard Drives 240GB Intel 520 SSD for Win 7

Would that be as in Taking ownership. I see "Trusted Installed" has it now. I have choices of Administrators or the user. Both are one in the same on my PC.
I see nothing indicating to bring up the properties for the file and authorize it for my PC. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Build By Yours Truly OS Win 7 x64 Pro CPU Q6600 (Lapped) Stock Clock Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Memory 8GB 4 X 2GB CORSAIR XMS2 DHX DDR2 - 2.1v (MFG Recommended) Graphics Card POWERCOLOR AX3650 512MD2 Radeon HD Sound Card Onboard Realtek Azalia Audio Chip Monitor(s) Displays Dual Samsung SyncMaster 215TW's Screen Resolution 1680 X 1050 Keyboard MS Wireless Comfort 1.0A Model 1045 Mouse Logitech VX Revolution PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX12V v2.2 Modular Case Rosewill R6AR6-BK ATX Mid Tower Cooling Rosewill RCX-Z775-SL 92mm 2 Ball, + 2 Yate Loon Case Fans Hard Drives HDD= WD Black 640GB @ RAID-Windows 7 Pro

I don't know if taking ownership is the same thing. I don't have the PC with the Striker 7.1 sound card anymore so I can't say exactly but I remember having to check a box in the properties for one of the .dll's for the program to get around an error that would pop up everytime I booted. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number My Own Build OS Windows 7, 64 bit Home SP1, Win 8 Pro 64 bit CPU Intel i7 3770 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Memory 16GB GSkill Ripsaw F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL Graphics Card Sapphire HD7770 Sound Card RealTek Monitor(s) Displays Viewsonic VA2448 Series 24" LED Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Kensington wired Mouse Logitech Wireless PSU Antec High Current Gamer HCG-620M Modular Case Coolermaster HAF XM Cooling Corsair H80 Liquid cooling with aftermarket Nexus quiet fans Hard Drives 240GB Intel 520 SSD for Win 7
