| | 5.1 problems Hello, I recently installed windows 7 32 bit. But I get problems when installing my SounBlaster Live 5.1 soundcard. It says the creative Gameport is not installed(yellow questionmark). And when I tried to search the drivers automatically via the driver cd, windows 7 says that it is outdated. And I can only get stereo sound, no 5.1. I checked the audio devices and all, but I can only get stereo working. Can anyone help me? |

| | Hi Integraione Creative Gameport is not supported in Windows 7 or Vista. |

Hi According to creative the soundblaster 5.1 is "end of life" they will supply current drivers (vista32 and maybe 64) and those can be installed in compatibility mode. I have no knowledge about gameport, as the OP said it may not be supported. Ken |

| | No promises but this, SB Live! series Support Pack 1.5 (08/09/2009) - Creative Labs is about the only hope you have for drivers for that card. Sorry to say but that card is too old (the original version of it dates back to the Windows 95/98 era) and official support for it was dropped 5-6 years ago. |
