Partition issues

No partition shown in my hard disk..when I was installing new OS in my long time unused HDD... May be the partition deleted from my HDD...

Hi,

Is the installation DVD booting up? When you install Windows, run the CLEAN command from DISKPART first. Use this tutorial:

Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command

You can ignore the posts about FAT/NTFS etc. - its inaccurate.
