    The BIOS is very specific to the make and model of the Motherboard. There may be more than one BIOS labeled as American Megatrends inc 5.20 bios flashing with the wrong one could render your motherboard useless. Why do you want to update your BIOS?

    You should know exactly what model you are using

    But why do you need to update the Bios is there a issue that the Bios is supposed to fix?

    If not there is no point in updating it you are just asking for problems if it happens to be the wrong bios driver

    AMI produces BIOS and EFI firmware, etc.

    My thought on bios updating. Only update bios when you are having a problem and that bios update address that problem.
