    Hp Laptop clean installation driver help


    yo guys i am going to install a factory oem windows 7 on my hp laptop following the gregrocker tutorial. now when i check the hp support site for drivers and softwares, i am confused on what to install and what to not.

    i need your help for guiding me. here is the list.

    Read the tutorial again as it is quite specific how drivers are handled in Win7, which is not at all like XP.

    Put your wireless or ethernet driver (whichever you use) on stick or CD in case it isn't in installer so you can get online to get your Updates which will have newer drivers under Optional.

    Only after all Updates should you import any drivers missing in Device Manager. Any functions you use which are missing may also require the fuller software package off the HP Support Downloads webpage for your model. There are Special Notes for HP Owners to study as well.
