| | On the Dell downloads site, its best to use the Service Tag number, rather than search using model number (assuming the OS is supported by Dell). The service tag number provides the drivers that are associated with that service tag number (as built). Using the model number provides all the drivers for every configuration and unless the user knows exactly what they have it can get confusing. I did user support on the Dell forum (I reached what Dell called "rockstar" status) for many years and we always told users to use their service tag number when accessing the downloads. |
