Aero Disable After Catalyst Update

    Downloaded directly from AMD.
    I dont think i have switchable graphics, because i have no idea what that is.
    Only my integrated graphics (the Matrox), and the HD5450

    if SFC found problems you may need to run it again. I suggest 3 times, as this seems to be the amount of times required for most people. Please ignore my post about reinstalling video graphics driver. 1 step at a time.

    you said WDM is running , have you stopped it and restarted it in services,
    often a restart of WDM will do it, when its not showing aero but says its running

    SP1 is installed.
    Does the optional updates count?


    Restarted DWM, no effect.

    koolkat, what version is your driver? Mine's 8.982.0.0 dated 7/27/2012...

    I'd suggest you to uninstall the one you have now download the drivers from the link I provided earlier (filehippo) and see if it works.

    Make sure to reboot whenever it asks you to.
