    Hi izanagi, Welcome to SevenForums.

Windows Media Player will not play blu-ray discs. You will need a bluray player software like Cyberlink Power DVD, Corel's WinDVD, Arcsoft's Total Media Theatre, Nero Media suite Platinum to mention a few.

But the most important part is whether your system starting from the BD ROM drive to the monitor - the entire chain including your display adapter is HDCP compliant.

Download Cyberlink's BD & 3D Advisor from CyberLink Blu-ray Disc Support run it and check your system.

Cyberlink Media Espresso is only a video converter and not a blu-ray player. Download the trial version of any software player I had mentioned (PowerDVD,WinDVD,Total Media Theater ...) and then try to play your BD.

By the way, did you check your system compliance to HDCP to play BDs with Cyberlink 3D/BD advisor?

I'm still using PowerDVD9 Ultra, and it plays BluRay discs perfectly (including delivering multi-channel audio out over HDMI, to my AVR).

Here are the current PowerDVD products.

Again, Windows Media Player does not support BluRay playback.

Note that if you speak with ATI/AMD, they will state that CyberLink's PowerDVD is the only BluRay player software they acknowledge as "compatible" with ATI HD video cards, or at least that they "support" as acceptable for purposes of providing tech support if you have questions or issues.
